And I'm really, really hoping it's not an oncoming train.
Dale seems some better today, not hurting nearly as bad. Of course, if he had known he was supposed to be on antibiotics this whole week after the surgery, he might not have had to deal with as much pain. Makes me aggravated to even think about their negligence.
My face isn't quite as sore today, although I did have to take a pain pill earlier. Still on antibiotics and NSAIDs for a few more days. But I felt up to making a pot of chicken rice soup and it's simmering as I write.
It's supposed to be really healthy and it will be easy for me to eat....nothing solid for a while.
Having some storms passing through, nothing too bad so far. Hope you guys are safe. This is tornado season, so be as careful as you can.

That's my sweet Gracie. She sleeps a lot and I think has some arthritis. She's aging along with us.

Oh, my. I think the chicken and rice soup will do you good. I think I am hearing of many tornadoes already this year.

I'm glad Dale is feeling a little better today. I love chicken/rice soup! Enjoy:) Summer is our tornado season, on through the fall. Gracie is beautiful!

Thanks, she's a sweetheart, but kind of strange. She wants to be close to wherever we are, but doesn't like to be petted.

@LadyDuck It really can be. I don't know how people function who are in pain all the time. I don't know how my daughter manages to carry on if it weren't for having a few days of less pain.

No, it's impossible to get used to tornados. Here we have more of a threat from hurricanes, but at least we usually have some time to get away to somewhere safer. Tornados don't usually give much warning.
