Almost All the Members in a Family are Covid Positive

A friend of mine in Quezon City (Philippines) texted me today. Almost his family members and that includes were tested positive for Covid-19 after having a swab test in their local barangay unit. There are only two sisters who were not infected. Now, they are quarantined for 14 days in their house. I am so positive that they will surpass this challenge.
Are you going to be in a panic if it happens to your family?

@edisondanila OMG!! That's horrible.Here also there is a family consisting of six members and all of them are found positive.

Instantly yes we might panic.
But after an hour or so we would start analyzing what was going on, in the sense of who was having what kind of symptoms, and accordingly work on that.
Who would require more support or help and who requires less support.
How much the virus has affected which person at what level.
this way we will figure out what to do.

Statistically speaking the chances are they will recover from it for as long as they do not show symptoms that can endanger their life. Symptoms to watch out for are difficulty breathing. Fever, cough, and colds can be managed by medicines. When you have reached the point where you have difficulty of breathing then you should seek medical assistance already.

I hope they will recover from the virus.
No, when some in my family tested positive for Covid I didn't panic, but I did stay away from them. I offered to go get groceries for them and help with errands but was told they already had others who would do that for them. Thankfully, they recovered from the virus and are fine now.

@DaddyEvil I think they are fine with the symptoms and all. It was the protocol to bring them into these facilities.

@Shavkat Here, if someone goes to a medical facility, the reason is that they are very sick with the virus... I hope they will be okay.

@Shavkat I'm so sorry. It's one thing to hear about this virus affecting people around the world and actually knowing someone personally having it. It's more personal. I'm so sorry. I am wishing the very best for them.

This shows that the spread of COVID is not under control in the Philippines. When all people take this virus serious, the end results will be positive.

I do agree with you. My friend and his family did all the necessary health protocols. He even wondered how did they infect. I cannot also validate it because this is what he claimed. Moreover, I think the situation here is far better than in India right now.
