May 9 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL rejoice and be GLAD in it. Today was a very good day. I took the day off and treated myself to needful R&R. I'll be back at Vendetta tomorrow. I'm thankful for the privilege of going to church. As early as I woke this morning, I'm only now getting tired. I didn't even start to fall asleep during the service. Pastor had another great teaching from John 3. There were photo opportunities for mothers after the service, roses, and cupcakes. I should probably fast for the entire week. I'm thankful for the wonderful lunch I made myself. I made potato salad and almost finished off the shaved prime rib I bought yesterday for yesterday's dinner. I'll finish it tomorrow. I also found a great find yesterday when I went to the store, a loaf of Keto bread that is Paleo compatible. Two sandwiches of shaved beef with shredded alternative cheese, melted in the microwave. Only one word comes to mind - Delicious! Each slice of bread is half the size of a normal loaf. I'm thankful for the phone calls I made this morning to my sister, sister-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter. I had an excellent conversation with my daughter. My brother and sister-in-law are on vacation coming home from Utau where they saw a couple of national parks. When I called they were on their way to the Arch in St. Louis. So, everyone had a good day. I'm thankful for the phone call I got from my son. He told me I could go pick up my Mother's Day present. He had it in the car. I did. He got me an adult coloring book. It's awesome. When I want to pull out my hair over a book, I can color. This made my day perfect. I didn't see him, but he still made my day awesome. I'm thankful for the wonderful day, from beginning - 2:30 this morning, until now. I'm going to bed when I finish this. How was your day? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.
