Today was a mix of a day. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad either.
A friend of mine called me this morning and asked if I'd like to accompany her to TJ Maxx. I readily agreed, and she came to pick me up. Well, I found a smart scale for $20.00 That's an excellent price and so I grabbed it up and away we went.
We then stopped at a Keto Bakery (they do paleo and vegan too) and I got tiramisu and a brownie too! And a blueberry smoothie, that wasn't very groovy! (but it wasn't bad either).
The scale (or rather the app) decided it wanted to be difficult and so at first it wouldn't record the weight and everything. I got it to work this evening (after giving it a few hours).
I've walked twice today. I didn't write a lot, but I got other things online accomplished.
I'm calling today a win.

I went to town today, very late in the evening, which I will never fo again. It was crowded and if its the first of the month. Then I met my friend and dropped off a package to her. I was well beat when I got home.

I like to go out as early as possible now because I don't like being around crowds. Sorry it was crowded while you were out!

@popciclecold I don't blame you. When I worked for a grocery store, the hours between 7 and 11 were the slowest, and then again from 2-4. I base my shopping around that now.

I like this one now that I got it to work. I plan to use it weekly. That's a good gift for the purchase of shampoo and hygiene products.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I use the scale every Sunday morning, I think that once a week is a good habit. The hygienic products store often offers interesting gifts.

@LadyDuck Here they do not offer a lot of good things. There is a grocery store that has a rewards program and you can earn points for things like spatulas, cooler bags or square coolers, but the store is expensive.

Yesterday was bad. I woke up with period cramps. They went away a few hours later and then I was sleepy. Then last night the cramps came back. I didn't get alot of online work done, but I did do some more diamond painting. Today I feel better and I discovered I started my period this morning.

Sounds like a win to me too...especially with the deal on the scale and getting some things from the keto bakery!
My day definitely was not a win; took my Grandma to the doctor but didn't get much info. Then, had to deal with Eli not wanting to behave all evening. I did work on my current Diamond Painting for an hour or so.

I'm sorry you didn't get a lot of info about your grandma's health. I hope the doctors can figure out what's going on with her. Sorry Eli was not wanting to behave. Hope today is better for you.

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh that sounds like a fun one! I can't wait to see it once your done with it.
Oh, you know I've heard that people have had complications after having COVID. I hope she's feeling better soon and I really hope the doctors can tell her what's going on too. My cousin had the same problem with doctors until one finally listened and diagnosed her with a rare disease.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Used to that kind of stuff here, with doctors not telling us much, or them taking forever to schedule tests/etc.... They think it could have to do with when she got sick in early 2020 (which my uncle thinks was covid).
My current diamond painting is a Lisa Frank one....not sure if you have seen it anywhere but it has a bunch of food all over the image; like a heart shaped donut, slice of pizza, rainbow colored ice cream cone, etc. Love it so far!

Glad you got your scale working and that you enjoyed your trip to TJ Maxx. I haven't been to a TJ Maxx in years and it's one of the stores I miss. We don't have one here.

I thought the TJ Maxx was closer, but it isn't.
Oh it is delicious. I had some of the brownie yesterday and it tastes like a normal brownie.

Yes, I am too. They do pumpkin stuff all year round, but the pumpkin stuff isn't keto. I guess I could order it keto though.
