Pool Update 05/10/21

So, if you have been following me you know I have been in process to put up a pool.
Well, on Friday the guys came over and we got the pool set up finally, only a week after the leveling was completed and some other dirt work in the yard. I have spent the past few days filling it with water and monitoring the progress to see if any adjustments have to be made to the legs, etc.
Just about to the pump level now, and so once I get there I will go ahead and get the pump ready to start filtering the water and add chemicals and so on and so forth.
We are almost there and things are looking good so far.

Not sure yet what I want to do. We already have a pretty nice deck out back, and I guess it would be cool to find a way to extend it out and build more around the pool. I have considered, depending on how things go, maybe putting a concrete patio there with a sitting area extended out from the back deck.
It's a work in progress at this point. I also want to see how the pool holds up during winter since I do not intend to take it down.

Nice! Pretty soon you will be enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool. Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend celebration. You should add a deck around the pool for your next project.

Still trying to figure out how I want to tackle any other "pool projects." I already have a pretty big deck, and because of codes had to put the pool out farther from the deck than I'd have preferred, so I am not sure what I am going to do just yet.
I do know it will probably be a project for next year. I want to see how the pool holds up through winter since I have no plans to take it down.

Cool beans. My husband would like a pool; but he wouldn't take care of it; and it would become a swamp.
