Dinner For Lunch

I love having breakfast for dinner but today we're going to do dinner for lunch.
It's my daughters birthday so we girls ( my two daughters and myself ) are getting steak dinners from our local steak house. We're not ready to do inside dining so we're just doing take-out.
My daughter has been dying for steak for months and even if we have steak at home it never quite tastes as good as what you can get out.
They went to pick it up so I'm able to use this time to myLot.

@Marilynda1225 I love food grilled on charcoal, we have a grill, but until now it's not warm enough to eat outside.

That sounds delicious Anna. I'm hoping to get a new barbecue grill so we can cook outside. I love grilled food even vegetables

A happy birthday to your daughter! I hope you all enjoy the steak dinner celebration. We have found that grilling them over the bbq tastes best to us . . . but I am thinking restaurants might use loads of butter on theirs. Happy Friday - enjoy the weekend!!!

We don't do many steaks but I do love london broil on the bbq. I'm sure the restaurant does use a lot of butter but since we're celebrating today calories don't count

Yes I like loaded baked potatoes but since I'm really watching what I'm eating i got a plain baked potato with my steak and a side salad. I'm enjoying the celebrating but also trying to make a healthy choice

This is the first "real" meal we've gotten from a restaurant since Covid started. The only other thing we've ordered was pizza. I'm really looking forward to my steak and will just eat a very tiny dinner since lunch will be a big meal.

Oh yum!! We have actually eaten in a longhorn a couple times recently but I numbers in Ct are much lower than PA

I've never eaten in a Longhorn. Ours is fairly new and then covid hit and no indoor dining. Our lunch was really good and now I'm looking forward to eating there in the future
