Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I saw these quote today and I believe in it strongly.
" Life is 10 percent that happens to us and 90 percent how we react to it" meaning it's always the reaction we give in life when we are thrown in different and difficult situations.
Everyone is different hence the reactions too are different given by different people. That's what makes everyone's life different.
If you react with positivity in difficult times, you are able to come out of it sooner or later. I always have a positive reaction in difficult times.
Share your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Stay safe and take care!!!

Am not sold to the quote. We were trained to plan ahead. We don't wait for things to just happen and we react to it. We make things happen.

@Rashnag 'Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.'
Literal interpretation shows 'life' equated with a circumstance and a reaction. From that alone, the quote is already faulty.
First, that is not a definition of life.
Second, the probability of something happening vary from person to person. Not everyone is hit by lightning.

Yes if some circumstances prevail then we have to act appropriately

I agree with you, actually our reaction in facing a problem that determines everything, does not come from the problem itself.
when I realized this I tried to be more responsive to the environment. I'm learning not to overexpress in my attitude. With a flat face I will face all the trouble even though I will be called heartless lol

I agree with you although it is really easy to say but it is hard to do. Most of the time we can`t react in a positive way.
but can still get up and face reality of life in a way that we can manage to handle

Sometimes I can, other times I can't. I often learned that I need to let my emotions do as they will.

I have heard another stat that would confirm this one of yours too.
We only ever use 10% of our brainpower, the rest lies idle, and only kicks in reactively.
If we used more of our brain instead of just reacting unconsciously, we would see more in life, understand more, and give a greater chance to life, than a quick reaction ever gives to it.
Live deserves to be given a better look at, rather than just a reactive glance, where we miss the truths coming to us in the problems
