Got my shots

I know it comes with a lot of controversy - and I don't mean to offend anyone who is "anti-vaccine" ... you have a right to get it, or not - all I will say is that I hope you have researched it out, and perhaps offer an ever so gentle reminder that heard immunity would be real nice since I would really like this stupid pandemic to go away (as I'm sure everyone would say).
But no matter which way you feel on it - I am personally really happy to say that both my momma and myself are now fully vaccinated. We both got the Moderna jab. Momma only experienced some tiredness and a sore arm. My first shot - I barely felt. My second shot I had a really sore arm, fatigue, fever, body aches. It wasn't terrible, and last about a day. I would gladly do it again to have some peace of mind.
Momma had to go to a small town about a half hour away and due to age she was able to get hers before me. Which is fine. I got mine a 2 hours (one way!) drive away at a small local theater no less. That was fine though. I wanted it as soon as I could get it and that was where it was available the soonest.
So now, slowly I re-integrate back into society. It is nice going into restaurants and stores, though I find that I don't miss some things - like shopping at the huge Walmart centers.
How about you? How is the situation in your part of the world?

That's great you both were able to get them...and they weren't too bad.
I haven't got them, and haven't thought whether to or not.

The eyes have it.
I've had my 2 shots of the Astrazenica variety. No side effects apart from wanting to climb trees. It's made from a chimpanzee virus, so that could explain a lot. I've got to go now to get my back waxed. Again! Ooh Ooh

Virus is spreading fast here in India and government has increased the vaccination hope in few months more and more people will get vaccinated. I am sorry for the people who think that vaccination will have an ill effect on their health and not taking it up.
