I finally got rid of the Star Trek: Enterprise Theme when another song popped into my head today.
"Fool On the Hill" by Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66 (formed in 1966), is the current song in my head.
Sergio Mendes is a Brazilian musician who was born 2/11/41. He plays bossa nova combined with jazz and funk.
Mendes's jazz albums had low sales; and it was suggested to him that the group sing in English. Two American girl singers were added that could sing in English and Portuguese. Brasil '66 was born and became a huge hit.
I hope you enjoy "Fool On the Hill".

Glad to hear you got the Star Trek: Enterprise theme out of your head. I will have to admit the current song in your head is a much better one. I have to say this one is completely new to me. Never heard of the band, and this is the first time hearing this song.

@LindaOHio Thanks. We took a walk in the neighborhood, then sat on the deck listening to it. With appetizers, hubs wanted to watch some baseball, so I let him. Such a good wife

Just listened to your link. Don’t think I’ve ever heard it before. Seemed like a mellow song, meaning not high energy. But perhaps it can get stuck in a person’s head nevertheless.
