Sometimes I Boggle My Own Mind

Happy Thursday/Friday Everyone! why do I say Thursday/Friday? Because I thought it was Friday when I got up. I came downstairs, took my morning pills (Fri), poured my coffee and joined my daughter who was having her coffee. I said something about I thought we were supposed to get rain on Friday and it's beautiful and sunny outside. She said....maybe cause it's Thursday 
Sometimes I feel as if I'm going crazy. So, today is Thursday, no rain and a bit cooler after our thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and another one around midnight.
Can't change the fact that I took the wrong pills this morning but I'll just take todays tomorrow. Shouldn't make a difference.
Had an early morning phone call with my Aunt and caught up on some family news.
Now I'm ready to chat here for awhile before getting some things done around the house. I ran the dishwasher last night so that needs to be emptied. I hate emptying the dishwasher. You would think I would be grateful that I even have a dishwasher and didn't have to do all that work by hand. Needless to say, it's a pain putting all that stuff away.
Which reminds me....I love coffee mugs but I do have too many. It's getting to the point where it's hard to fit them all in the cabinet. So, I guess that will be on my "to do" list either today or tomorrow.

What exciting things do you have planned for today?

I don't have many older relatives left so I like to keep in touch with my Aunt. She and my uncle had 4 children all grown and married now with lots of grandchildren so there's always lots to catch up on including my own children and grandchildren.

You reminded me that I need to make a grocery list. It's a holiday weekend here so I need to get a whole bunch of stuff. I'm sure we'll do a barbecue at some point.

@Marilynda1225 It is a holiday the next Thursday here, it's a religious holiday but all the offices will stay closed, the stores will open from 10 am to 5 pm, I prefer not to go shopping during the holidays.

I have been having that kind of a week also.
Our son has an appointment on Friday of this week, and yesterday I texted him asking him how he was feeling about his appointment tomorrow-he thinks that I am losing it. 
Maybe I am.
I just baked a batch of muffins and will start working soon.
I really love this cooler and sunny weather that we have today.

I did the same thing with my middle daughter and her interview on Wed (yesterday). I texted her Tues night to ask how it went. Duh!! So once again I texted her last night to ask and she said it went well and she would know by friday or monday

You should be ok with your pills even if you have different ones to take an some days.

I get the kids to empty out the dishwasher as a team - one of their chores

I actually need more mugs - matching preferably. I noticed many of ours have chipped at the lip.
Someone is coming in to fix our oven today . . . I couldn't use the oven for about a week now. Being able to use the oven again would be our biggest excitement for the day

I was already busy in the morning. Went for a long walk. Went and helped at the animal shelter and than wrapped up two sold items for the pawn shop. Mailed them and came home for the day,.
Now I am staying home for the rest of the day.

I think I have already had today's excitement with the visit from the internet tech. He was here for a good hour..trying to get this signal back..it dropped once..but for the most part it has been fine..bright and sunny today though..tomorrow cloudy...with rain likely so who knows?
