French Toast Not Just For Breakfast

Most breakfast foods are also good for dinner. One of my many favorites is french toast. There are many ways to cook this one. I always add cinnamon and a little sugar to the milk and egg mixture. Dip the bread in the mixture, then to a buttered pan, fry it and you are done. Bacon is a good side to have with this dish. Strawberries are a favorite topping, and blueberries as well. Whatever you have is good. I also like maple syrup on mine. Sometimes powdered sugar is good instead of the syrup. A sweet dish but I always enjoy it. I am sure there are substitutions you could add. I do the simplest way. I just dip the bread in the milk and fry it.

I do as well. But i add egg to the milk and cinnamon. Easy peasy.

Jay eats French toast often, but usually not in the morning. Because of his job, Jay would leave home without breakfast. He's never ready for food until about 11:00AM. Myself, I wake up hungry as a bear!

I like french toast for dinner but will use layers of chicken and cheese to go with it, kinda like a sandwich that you have to use a fork and knife with.
