My niece, great niece and "Beanie" came to meet the kittens. I was hoping they would take two, but no such luck. They did find two they liked but my nieces' partner is not fond of having pets, because that is something you can love then lose.
The kitten in the picture is the one they settled on. My great niece got to choose. If my niece had chosen, they might have taken a solid black one that was male. As is, this is my middle tux kitten and one of my favorites and we believe it is a girl.
They have an elderly orange tabby male at home who has been lonely and they are hoping that he will enjoy having the kitten, as he generally likes babies of all kinds.
Only four more to rehome.
I miss this one, but it is okay. I know she will be cared for.

I am not sure rehoming a kitten would justify a road trip or I would bring you one. Surely there are kitties around you that need a home.

@GardenGerty - It is hard to give away newborn pets sometimes, but I am glad you found a home for one of them. Good luck finding homes for the others!

I tried not to get attached. I just wonder what the baby is thinking. Of course, judging by the video my great niece posted, it has not had time to think.

Yeah, they should have taken two. I doubt that the elderly male will want to play as much as the kitten.

Beanie plays, though, and Katy plays, and there is a cat tree. Yes, it would have been nice to take two, but there is time yet.

I think George, the tabby, may be getting senile. I believe it will be good for him not to be alone when everyone else is out of the house. It will perk him up.

This one is a baby. I believe it is a girl. My niece came and took her home with her. I have four more baby kittens to find homes for.
