June 1 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good and difficult day. Busy. My back wants to get off the computer and relax for the rest of the night. Not going to happen. Unfortunately. I have a Writer's Guild Zoom meeting in less than an hour.
I'm thankful for the great workout in the pool and fitness center today. It was great to get back after four days since I didn't go on Friday.
I'm thankful I kept my weight down over the weekend and even lost a couple of pounds. 
I'm thankful for the five pounds I lost in the last month. A change of plans, tracking, Fitbit, all worked together to achieve the weight loss.
I'm thankful for the steps I've already achieved today. 14,738. It's why my back is screaming at me. I have one more walk around the parking lot in fifteen minutes and then I'm finished with today's goals.
I'm thankful that for as active as I've been today, I'm not very hungry. My calories so far are well below 1000. That will change because I know I'll have one more meal today. I don't know what, maybe just the fruit salad I made yesterday. We'll see.
I'm thankful I went to look at an apartment today. I learned something. Apartment managers cannot volunteer they accept housing, but they can tell you if you ask. I didn't ask and the complex I looked at doesn't accept housing. If I don't find anything this month, I won't be moving. I got the lease renewal from the office today. I was expecting it.
Okay, that's been my day. It's been good in every way. I need to tell my back it's been good.
Oh, one more thing I'm thankful about. I wrote the blurb for the back of the book last night and the receptionist at the Y loves it. She also agreed to read/proof it for me. She's been waiting for me to finish this one so she could buy it. Little does she know that she gets a free copy for proofing it for me. I won't have time to print it up tonight, so it will be tomorrow.

I am grateful that my sister's auto that was at a repair shop since last Monday due to a starter problem due to the floods was repaired and given to her today.

Sorry about your back..So, you are going to move? I am thankful that today was still relatively cool and that my drivers license came today. I had lost it as I mentioned earlier.

Your back will thank you once you give it a break. I am sure of it.
I'm thankful for the cool weather. The store had my favorite orange juice, and that I found the energy to finish the dishes from last night.

Yes, it was very happy when I finally snuggled under the covers and went to sleep.
I'm glad you have cooler weather. It's always great when you find your favorites at the store. I'm glad you had the energy to do the dishes.

Actually thankful I arrived in June all well and fine and now I have to figure out my schedule for the month and highlight my goals, That is a wonderful saying and I agree,

I'm thankful that it's been a good week to get work done. Tomorrow we begin cleaning a house for new owners.
I either gained a couple of pound or my previous scale was no longer accurate but I expect I should easily lose what I gained and more this summer sometime.
I'm thankful we don't have to wear masks everywhere anymore and I'll be doubly happy when that happens at work too.
I thought you found a new place to move into after the winter. Did that one not work out?

I still have my name on two waiting lists. One is the new building that just completed construction. It filled fast. They told me maybe next year. We'll see what happens there. The other is the Senior place. A miscommunication lost me an opportunity this time. They know now that I will take either the one-bedroom or one with a den. They had me on the list for one and den only. The one-bedroom is smaller, but considering the management here, I'll take it. We'll see.

You sound like you're doing well and busy as usual.
Didn't know you were thinking of moving.
I'm just thankful I didn't break anything when I fell the other day and can just rest and take it easy.

Your day has been busy. I hope that your back doesn't continue to hurt you. I am praying still if you are suppose to move God would open the doors for you.
I am thankful I got the church yard mowed yesterday and ours done today. Suppose to be rainy beginning tomorrow evening through the following week. I am thankful rain is coming, we need it. Haven't had significant amount for a couple weeks now. Have a blessed evening.

I have a feeling this is a closed door. I don't need to move. The apartment is nice. It's the new management that isn't. I'm going to keep looking and hope something comes available. I talked to one of the maintenance men here yesterday. Even he is quitting and moving. He lives in the building across from me. They're expecting maintenance to do work in fewer hours than the old management team did in a regular workweek. It's insane. He said the people here are moving in larger numbers than with the old management team. He told me one more person is quitting in the office. This new management doesn't care about anything except money. Yes, I want out. I don't want to see another illegal eviction notice come my way.

Great! Those long weekends can be very tempting to overeat. I did not overindulge too much either. Thankful I did not regain the weight I've recently lost.
