Seafood Bonding Again!

I will be having a wonderful delicious day tomorrow for lunch again. My 3 Filipina friends and I will be having a get together lunch at my friends house. This will be another seafood bonding time for us without our husbands.
Seafood is very expensive here and whenever we meet each other, we share food that we cook. I have heard what my friends cook and I am thinking that I will just make something for dessert. I still don’t know what. Maybe a cassava cake?
I have still frozen grated cassava or tapioca. I think I will make cassava cake line with wilted banana leaves as I still have frozen banana leaves in the freezer.
It is always nice to meet my friends as it is not only eating time but also Zumba and laughter time for us. The weather is very nice here at 25C. I am again on my balcony reading and mylotting while listening to the sound of the chirping birds nearby.

Food and fun with friends . . . what a nice day it will be for all of you! I know whatever you contribute to the meal will be delicious. No real plans here today except to get more things done around the house as the kids do their virtual schooling. Have a good Thursday!

It was a fun get together with my friends yesterday. We had a lot to eat, a lot of laughter, dancing and singing karaoke. I woke up with no voice and I slept 9 hours straight.

My friends and I had a wonderful afternoon until evening.
We had eaten a lot, danced, laughed and sung karaoke.

Sounds great I also love seafood but you are right I cannot always afford it, Now and then I get some frozen, Just spending time working at my laptop,

You don't need a tempting meal like seafood to get together with good friends but it doesn't hurt.

I understand. I peel off the shrimps and other seafood with heads when cooking them as my husband can't peel them himself. That is why he is not fond of eating them. Thank you @spiderdust.
