Do you celebrate your pet's birthday?

I don't know exactly how old Nico is, but when I got him around the middle of December 2.5 years ago they said he was approximately 6 months old. I have decided his bday is June 15, but I think we will be celebrating it the 16th this year..(like he is gonna know, lol) He is not getting a cake, but maybe a bit of frozen yogurt, as well as a replacement da bird, and a bubble machine as he does enjoy bubbles..unless I decide to get some at Walmart. I have been told they have catnip bubbles. Do your pets get presents?

Ooh, catnip bubbles? I might have to let my friend know about that one. Her void goes outside with the doggos at least once per day, and I'd be interested to see what he'd do with catnip bubbles.
No pets here, but yeah, in the past we have.

Nico is a bit older, but our boys are still young cats. Gevi came back home this morning with a scratch on his head. I heard a cat fight last evening, bad boy!

@snowy22315 Hubby used to give too much fatty turkey to the pups on T Day. Then he noted how ill Sally got from that sudden intake of fat- and me walking with her and grumbling about having a sick pup to deal with.

@sallypup Ohhh, I see. Turkey isn't really that fatty though..maybe he was giving the skin. The pets always love holiday dinners!

Buttons came inside to live with us on Jan 24th after we gained her trust for several months of being a scared kitten outside. My birthday is the 23rd so we always celebrated both together. She loved cat nip and toys and we would spoil her with treats.
Ginger came from a friend who didn't want her anymore. She never liked actually having animals but wanted them, which never made sense. She didn't like taking care of them or having them in the house. We celebrate her home coming with us on April 27th, which happens to be my Dad's birthday. She's not as much into cat nip, does play with some toys and always loves treats.

@Dena91 Sis lost her last living cat in February I think...they haven't gotten back on the cat bandwagon yet either...but when things calm down a bit for them..I think they might. Maybe by September, they will be ready.

I never did but we always had an idea of their approximate age. For me giving a pet a birthday party seemed a little out there. But on the other hand owners do love their pets don't they?

Yes, we do and some of us think of them as our children. I don't think my real son is jealous..

We do give our cats treats every so often, but that's about it. I have no idea how old most of my cats are. They just are happy to be loved.

I've not celebrated my pet cat birthday yet because he was in January last year so I will celebrate it next year and am planning to buy presents to him too
