Good afternoon from this side of the planet
It's 12:30 PM here as I write this post.
It's all done for the day at school. The three meetings for the day are over. The first one was from 7:30_ 8:45 in the morning. Next from 10 to 11 and the last one just got over. It was from 11:30_12:30. And now I am all done for the day and can spend my time online. The little break that I got in between these meetings were used for peeping here and on other site.
Tomorrow I have to meet two more teachers in the zoom meeting to discuss the curriculum plan for pre primary section and I should be again free by the same time. School reopens for students from Wednesday and so teachers are having these meetings since last Wednesday to discuss and plan for next academic year. School always opens a week earlier for teachers and closes a week later for any vacation. We need to do our things to plan for a new semester and wind up the last semester.. And these weeks are really busy ones as we get quite a few homework to be done
School opened for my younger daughter too from today. Elder one has already started it from mid May. Here I have some time till they get their lunch break. It's simple meal of rice, daal ( lentil soup) with potatoes and capsicum fry. And of course curd and sliced cucumber and onions are always there.

I will now move to reading and responding to people who have been responding to my posts very regularly. I have not been much available here to read their posts and now I am going to catch up

You've had a very light day. The school should post someone to make sure you have to do extra homework every day. Just ask your daughters if that isn't fair...

My daughters don't find that fair. If I get too much homework, who is going to satisfy their culinary cravings.. And I need to be free to help them with their homework.
Well, older one needs no help from me as she is at much advanced stage. My younger one needs my regular help. Though she is pretty independent. I need to work with her to help her with her dyslexia.
The day was good. And I am happy that the new time table is well organized and all my work gets over by 11:30 AM. So I work from 8_11:30 or 9_11:30. I have a long day later to do other stuff.
. And I need to be free to help them with their homework.

@arunima25 Oh, yes, I forgot you have to cook and clean, too... But surely, you can do household chores instead of sleeping, right?

@DaddyEvil My family too helps me with chores. But a major chunk falls on me. I just take a power nap of thirty to forty minutes in late afternoon. I stay active from 5_5:30 in morning to 10:30_11 in night.
I am pretty excited. This time table is more structured than last year one. I had the same number of sessions and working hours earlier too but it was scattered throughout the day with some breaks in between.

Your school activities have started and you are going to get busy. Here it is still summer vacation going on. Lockdown has since been relaxed from today.

@arunima25 Yes, so far the number of cases are on the decline. Here also schools might start soon (as I read in the newspaper today) because due to bad situation, the summer vacation started here as early as in second half of April (usually it starts on 15th May). Of course only online classes will be conducted.
It is good to hear that you are busy till 11:30 and thereafter you have plenty of time at your disposal.

@dpk262006 I am happy too. Last year though I worked for the same number of hours i.e three sessions they kept it scattered throughout the day and I would get free in afternoon. This time I am done by 11:30. Only on Wednesday and Friday, I have one more meeting with teachers at 3:30 for an hour. So it feels more structured.
I think schools in and around Delhi are opening from next week.My nephew is in class 8 and I had a talk with him yesterday.

Even when students join us from Monday, my work starts from 8 and ends by 11:30 AM every day. So I have all the time later to do other stuffs.

@arunima25 I hope you sleep well. They take the prom. Today he had an exam in the Serbian language, tomorrow he has a professional subject, and on Thursday he will take a combined test in several subjects.

That's a good menu for the lunch. Yes school teachers are overburdened by the school authorities but that's good that this time they are working from home. The school of my kids is going to open from 9th of june. They had a good last session as they didnt go to the school and they always pray that this session too they have online classes only. Let's see what happens this year.

I hate working from home. I like my interactive physical class and that is fun. It becomes more challenging for me as I deal with children struggling with academics and behaviour issues. Online sessions are not so effective for me. My daughters are just waiting for the school to open up and they get to see their friends. You know how important it is for teenagers to have fun with friends. They are 17 and 15, an age when you want to explore world with your friends.

Yes, it gets busy when school starts. Good that this time due to certain changes, my work would get over by 11:30 in the morning and that leaves a long day for me to do other stuff.
We start our new academic year in June and it ends in March.
