My First Post on myLot

Hi!
This is my first post on myLot. I am excited to be here and meet new friends. A little about me:
I am happily married for the second time. My husband and I each have 3 grown children. We adopted a rescue dog named Jenny whom we love dearly. We moved from CT down south to the foothills of the Appalachian mountains 7 years ago and except for the heat in the summer, I love living here.
I am trying to eat more healthily after being diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2019. I am cancer-free now, and have lost 20 pounds, but I still need to lose 10 more. So I spend a lot of time researching healthy recipes that taste good, will help me lose weight and keep the cancer away.
My husband and I both work at home. I am a freelance writer and sell on eBay, and am passionate about both. I love being able to work at home and create my own schedule.
I am looking forward to meeting you all. Do any of you have anything in common with me?

I post online, doing mini jobs to earn online. My biggest source here is Mylot. It isn't huge, but it's something. I consider it work, because I get paid. I make my own schedule and do quite well with my work.

Welcome aboard and hope you find you like it here. The money is not terrible, but it's not great either. But then, the fun factor here is really what suckers you in. I spend probably way more time here than I should. But I can't keep away either.

@Kouponkaren We try to be. lol. If you ever have any questions, ask JJ. He is a resident expert around here. I really think he needs to be on the MyLot payroll some days. But also keep in mind @myklj999 is nuts. So...take things for what they are worth given the day and given the moment.

I've met, in person, two people I met on myLot. They were just like they are online... I consider myself very lucky. A lot of people pretend they are nicer on myLot than they are in real life...

Thank you so much for your first post and welcome to My Lot. I really enjoyed reading it and so glad you are cancer free and hope you stay that way. Working at home does have advantages. What do you sell on E-bay? I would love to see a picture of Jenny. I am an animal lover. I have a cat named Sophie. She will be turning 7 in August. I will put her picture here for you to see her.

Is there someone that can help you post a picture. I have no idea if the problem is getting it to My Lot or not but underneath the post there something that says image and you go into that and bring the picture in. I am sure there are others here that can explain it better. DE is one for example that may be able to help you with posting pictures. I look forward to seeing a picture of Jenny.

Oh eat pomelo and it will help you lose weight guaranteed. Or do the tablespoon of virgin coconut oil once or twice everyday.
How did you find myLot and what made you interested to join?
As for me I don't even remember why I joined here anymore. I did stay for the interaction and discussions more than anything else. I like answering questions/discussions here in myLot, earning some $ is just a bonus which I am also thankful for. The earning per post feature disappeared some time years ago but I hope it will never happen again.

@owlstalaga I just looked up Pomelo and I can't eat them because they, like grapefruit, interfere with a medication I am on. Thanks for the suggestion though. I CAN eat coconut oil though.

@hotsummer Well, thank you for the welcome. I am learning the ropes of myLot and having fun so far. I have been doing a lot of exploring and figuring out how to use tags to discover discussions about things that interest me. I think I will be here for a long time!
