I forget where it came from, but I got some kind of "for your new apartment" thing in the mail or something. One such thing was a gift card for 15% off a purchase of an item (that couldn't be on sale) at a place/website called CB2. Sorry, I'd never heard of it. Once I got to the site, I saw their prices. Five hundred dollars for an automan??? Two thousand nine hundred ninety nine dollars for a couch??? And you folks are graciously giving me fifteen percent off of these prices. Yeah, thanks but no thanks. I'll get my furniture in gently used condition at the thrift store...

Hot dang that's expensive .... I only have those cheap tables that cost about $29 at Costco or Sams and a few fold up chairs and my bed and an old old dresser. I opted for pets instead of furniture .... and I wonder why no one visits

Right now in my "living area: I have my Staples computer desk and chair, a "Smart" TV that I've used once 'cause 1) I'm busy and 2)I'm not sure 100% how to use it or if I like it, a TV tray someone lent me, another old desk chair from my house, and a couple of sets of shelves--along with a little end table I brought with me 'cause my Dad made it. Slowly I'm getting rid of boxes...

I'm hoping to invest in a computer desk one day.

Not a very practical "gift".

At those prices they could afford to give you 16 or even 17% off and still make a profit...

Everytime you move, someone tries to take advantage.

LOL--well, this is the first time I've moved since I was nearly four years old, so I'll take your word.

It happens they fix prices high for the things and give us discount and make us fool
