Yesterday wasn't my usual day. Had I known my son wasn't going to get here until well after 8 with boxes, I could have gone to the Y for the pool and fitness center. However, I made up for it with the foot cycle, manual elliptical, and a nice walk. It's also the highest number of steps I've gotten since I started wearing the Fitbit again. Here are the numbers beginning with my weight. Wake-up Weight - 178.4 After Exercise Weight - 177.2 Calories Burned Exercise - 149 Minutes Elliptical - 25 Minutes - 101 Bike - 35 Minutes - 162 Walk - 54 Minutes - 283 Steps - 19,743 Calories Burned - 2418 Calories Consumed Breakfast 2 Eggs 2 Bacon 1 Potato 2 Cara Cara Oranges Total - 500 Lunch Sockeye Salmon Avocado Oil Mayo French Fries Fudge Brownie Total - 717 Supper Cheese and Tomato Sandwich - Provolone Style Cheese Slice, Cheddar Style Cheese Slice, 1 Slice Tomato, 2 Servings Avocado Oil Mayo on Keto Paleo Bread Total - 387 Grand Total - 1604 Net - -814 I did okay but probably should have skipped supper. A couple of items were high in calories yesterday. They showed up on the scale this morning. How did you do with food and exercise yesterday? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

I didn't do very well. I only walked about 5,400 steps. It was pouring rain out for most of the day so I couldn't get my usual walk in with the dog. Do you have a daily goal for steps walked? And are you trying to maintain weight, or lose some?

Lose. I wear a Fitbit, so it has the 10K goal. I try to go above that. I have 50+ pounds yet to lose. I've lost 80 so far.

After spending a week in the hospital, I wouldn't push it.

@NJChicaa I'm sorry you've spent so much time there. I hope everything is better now and you won't be going back.

Thank you. If I walk around the block of apartments in the center of the complex, it's easily a thousand steps, so it's easy to get all my steps in one day. The trail gives me 5000+.

Yesterday, food was good, I didn't exercise. It was a lousy day here and I usually exercise outdoors.

You have to go with the flow. If it's lousy outside, there's nothing you can do about it. I'm glad the food was good.

Good to know that you had the highest number of steps today. I didn't walk much today as it was Sunday and was feeling a bit lazy today.

That was yesterday. I just passed 10K less than half an hour ago. Sunday is a good day to be lazy.

Thank you. I'm starting to see some changes. I think the scale is going to do a huge jump at once very soon. At least that's my hope.

Actually, 1,500 calories is a good maintenance level. With all your physical activity, those extra calories were definitely burnt up.
