June 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a very good day. Lots of exercise. I'm thankful for getting up early and getting to the YWCA. I had a good workout in the pool and added 20 minutes in the fitness center. Ten minutes each on the bike and elliptical. I'm thankful for the walk I had on the trail. It was another missed photo op. A family of beavers ran across the trail. I recognized the flat tail. Not something you see every day here. I'm thankful for the time at the Botanical Gardens. I did well. I didn't use the mobile cart. I walked. It was quite the workout. I'm feeling it in every cell of my body. Above is a picture from the many I took today. They had the Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea exhibition. It's truly amazing what the artists did with the trash found in the oceans. It's pathetic to think of all the trash people throw in our oceans. It's good people are cleaning them up and put the trash to a useful purpose. I'm thankful I got Vendetta back from my friend who read and proofed it. She loved every bit of it. She can't wait until I get it published so she can read it again. It would be great if I can get it published before I move. We'll see. Okay, that's been my day. What are you thankful for today?
