How MyLot will help The Horse make over $100 this week alone!

As was being discussed elsewhere on MyLot, you just can't trust the media these days. Selective reporting of statistics. Spin over facts. False memes repeated. Even deceptive headlines. But I did just get a pair of '60s KLH Model Six loudspeakers in for restoration today. They have some fairly deep scratches (of course I'll show the worst surface I've encountered so far), but nothing out of the ordinary. I'll charge $100 for this restoration, as KLH Sixes aren't particularly large or heavy. I'm pretty confident I can make them look close to "minty." What is your most trusted news source?

Aunt Marion with her trick knee seems to be the most trustworthy source lately.

Depends what I'm hearing and what station. I usually fact check something of importance. I listen to a couple Christian stations, HOPE and K-Love, that play pop rock and usually trust their news over a talk radio.

Are they "balanced" when it comes to politics? I am a musician, and one of my favorite musicians is a pretty hard core Christian musician.

@TheHorse I haven't heard anything political on there. If there is, it's not when I listen.

That surface certainly looks pretty worn. We are going to sell our speakers so we have no use for them here. We bought a sound board to go with the new TV so the speakers aren't needed.

If they're "older," they could be worth some money. Do some research!

Skeptic that I am I do not trust any of them. I do trust you to do a great job on those speakers, though.

I do this as a hobby. And I want to keep getting these old speakers back in service. So I "undercharge" a bit.

I don't have a trusted news sorce. I take what I read and hear with a grain of salt. Always have. You kind of almost have to, in the age of the internet and social media. I'll turn to my local t.v. station for MAYBE the weather, but that's on my phone.... so unless I need to find about a hurricane, the weather stays off.

We don't seem to have really bad weather here in California. Except for the fact that there's always talk of drought. I'm just waiting for the next big earthquake to drag me off to sea.

Yes the surface is looking scratchy you need to work hard to make it good. Update us how you did it and how much you made from it.

As a member in myLot if they say you earn that amount, maybe for a long time so it is fake news.

That does need a deft touch and lot of work to restore. All news sources have an agenda and they report the news selectively too. I read between the lines to get to the bottom.
