My neighbour leaves them in our hallway for us to help ourselves...they have a big cherry tree

I should have planted myself a few cherry trees about 25 years ago. l have enough land to do it.

That's too bad. I almost started a discussion earlier about cherries in season. We have stands set up around here and cherries are going for a dollar a pound. Big fat juicy dark sweet cherries.
I bought more than I can possibly eat.
I think I saw cherries in the store at 1.99 a pound. I guess where you live makes a difference.

Sometimes we have local people that take trucks out of state and bring back fruit such as cherries and sell them for a good price. I hope you catch a sale on them so you can have some.

Some food items are quite expensive to afford on a regular basis. You can cherish them once in a while.
