Evening Dress and Sunday will be Ultra Special

Just returned from golf with my hubs, younger son, and his girlfriend. So excited our country club is fully opened again. Had brunch outside on the patio where I feel safest.
Here’s the dress our Ice Princess chose for her “kids” night time party. I had a huge chuckle that it was strapless with nothing to fill it.
Anyway, this Sunday can’t get any better. It’s Father’s Day here in the US, it’s the first day of summer, AND it’s my birthday! What a day for us!
Today is Friday, my favorite day, and Friday date night. Hubs wants to go out for dinner, but I have something planned already.

@DianneN I know you are being cautious - just nice to live the life again! We are fully reopened now . . . I am glad to say that most people are still wearing masks. But the whole thing makes we nervous - we stay pretty conservative for the most part. That Delta variant is roaming around, so I'm keeping my eye on any news about that

@DianneN That's what I hear, but I still get concerned. Especially too since my youngest is not vaccinated yet - age wise he is not eligible yet. I am reading that although we do not have a "surge" at the moment, there is an uptick on the Delta variant cases - particularly amongst certain groups that have not gotten vaccinated yet. But well, if people are making the choice to not get vaccinated, they will get super sick or spread it around even more. Or suffer the fate like those FL government workers .

All the girls bring sneakers to dance in. Her feet hurt after wearing her little heels all day. She gave out slippers with her name on them and by the end of the dancing, all the girls were wearing them.

That's a beautiful dress. I love the sneakers. Glad to hear that you're getting out to eat. A little bit of normalcy in your life. I have your birthday marked on my calendar; but just in case you aren't around tomorrow, "Happy Birthday"!!!!
