Had a light breakfast alone..

It's 11 AM here and I am done with my morning exercise, some cleaning and a quick shower. Had a light breakfast of toast and butter.. Nobody joined me as everyone was sleeping till 10:30. So I had a quiet breakfast today. Now my daughters and husband woke up. Husband is making tea in kitchen as I write this. I will enjoy it with him.. I have cooked paneer butter masala( cottage cheese in rich aromatic gravy). You can see that in picture. And I guess that would be the brunch for Saturday. My daughters will join us with their milk and cookies. I am going to make hot chapatis ( indian bread)when we are ready to eat Just switched on TV to catch up with latest news. And we hear the demise of sporting legend Milkha Singh due to post covid complications. He popularly known as "Flying Sikh of India "died last night at the age of 91. He lost his wife Nirmal Kaur, another sportsperson few days back. They were fit and publically active too. Had it not been this virus, they would have easily made it to 100 years and above. I was expecting that. But covid took them away It's end of one glorious era in sports World. But the legend of flying sikh is immortal and keep inspiring young athletes. Picture is of our delicious paneer butter masala and the aroma is just divine.

I woke up earlier than others and was hungry by the time everyone woke up. So skipped cooking breakfast and had this simple breakfast to wait and join others for brunch. It was sad to see him go. I expected him to live beyond 100. Well, his legacy is immortal.

He lived a fulfilling life till 91. He was a great asset to sporting world till his ripe age and was guiding and grooming athletes. It was sad to see him go. At 91, he was active like a 60 year old. He made a mark and had initial life full of struggles.
