Don't rob my house, but you can rob my garage?

Does that make any sense? I can't wrap my head around when our president, Joe Biden essentially said the same thing to Russia's president Vladimir Putin in the meeting they recently had. Biden is quoted by CNBC as saying, "I gave them a list, 16 specific entities defined as critical infrastructure under U.S. policy, from the energy sector to water systems." He's telling them those entities are off limits for attacks. Okay, so then it's alright to attack other places in the US as long as you leave those others alone? First of all, there are criminals in every country. I'm not singling out Russia. But that's who Biden was talking to. Does he honestly believe that criminals will respect his request not to hack or disrupt those places he named? It's a perfect outline of entities to be at the top of their list! It's like announcing I have many valuable items in my home, so I'd sure appreciate any criminals leaving us alone. But I do have some vehicles in my garage that might be of interest to you.

@MALUSE In some ways. In other ways, no.

@MALUSE I disagreed with some things about Trump, but overall I think he was the best President we've had in a long time. He put American citizens first, helped our economy, and supported our Constitution.

I mean seriously why not tell them what would really cripple us. Oh wait, that is what he did!!

As Putin needed a list to know which are defined critical infrastructures... now he has the confirmation of which they are!

@1creekgirl You tell to someone that he is a killer, then you meet him in person and ask him to "be kind"... this makes no sense.

Sometimes I feel as if we are living in a Biden/Kamala nightmare. I put my trust in Jesus so no matter what happens He is there beside me.

I feel that way, too. My trust will never be in governments or politicians. Jesus is the only one who can be truly trusted.

@1creekgirl I agree and we need to believe that god knows what He's doing.

It is a perplexing question to be sure. I am sure other presidents might have simply said don't attack us at all. Drop a bomb on our infrastructure or drop a bomb into the middle of the Great Lakes and we'll see fit to retaliate. Making such a statement to Putin had to leave him scratching his head.

@1creekgirl I wish more people realized this before they brilliantly went to the polls to vote for him. Oh well. Here we are, grinning and bearing it, and hanging on for dear life from a fishing line with very low test.

I'm fairly certain that Russia already knows which systems are critical to US infrastructure. I don't think Biden was telling them anything new. Not sure what the "treason" tag is for

@MALUSE I agree. Biden sure didn't need to list everything for them as if they'd then leave those places alone.

@NJChicaa Which makes the statement by Biden even more perplexing to be honest. Why state the obvious in what is otherwise supposed to be a serious discussion? I wonder what "No sh*t, Sherlock" translates to in Russian? Because I am sure Putin uttered it.

I'm sure Putin already knew this. The whole situation is screwed up as far as I'm concerned.

The present case seems to be the reverse of the rabbit which requests the fox not to throw it into the bushes, hiding the fact that they are safe as it took its birth in bushes.
