Brendel Decided on Tuna for Dinner

So excited to see Brendel eat a few bites of wet food. For dinner last night she had tuna. I was so shocked. Seems her taste buds are changing. First time for her to like the fishy foods. She had salmon a few nights ago and enjoyed. I am so happy to see her eating. And drinking a little more as well. She is sleeping now, as she does most of the day. This seems very encouraging to me. I'm so glad she ate the salmon and now the tuna, maybe you can try to put some of the juice into the water to entice her to drink more. Have you ever bought the Tuna in a jar that has no added salt? It's not cat food so the juice from that might just be what will encourage her to drink more.

I pray it will work. My girls love it and the sardines I buy for myself that has no salt. Even Roscoe like those.

Yes, it is so exciting. We will see about today. I have not bought tuna with no salt. This is the first time she has eaten it, but I will add it to my list.

That's wonderful that she's enjoying some foods. Like humans and most animals, cats tend to eat with their noses, first. Human food in general has a stronger smell, and is more attractive to older cats.
