Hot Fudge Sundae Treat

Every now and then I will treat myself to a hot fudge sundae. Just a small one from Sonic.
Today brought a few highs and lows. Felt like I needed a small treat. And enjoyed each bite.
Life is short and we never know what the next day will bring. I try to enjoy each moment as often as possible.
Many things are thrown our way, but we learn how to bounce back. Not letting anything keeps us down. Getting knocked down is one thing. Staying there is another. We have to get back up. And keep going.

As much as that sounds great I never really cared for hot fudge on ice cream, I preferred strawberry jam or something like that,

A little ice cream treat is a great pick me up! Here is another pick me up when we get knocked down. Funny video and song but catchy, lol.

i used to (in high school) work at the local dairy queen. We used to make chocolate coating hot fudge shakes (the chocolate you dipped cones into plus hot fudge) yum!

@CarolDM whatever we could get when the manager wasn't looking. We used to years ago cut up snickers bars, because the snicker pieces they sold were gross

I hope you enjoyed that ice cream to the max! I'm sure it hit the spot in this summer heat! I wish I could eat ice cream, but I'm lactose intolerant so I have to stay away from it. There are a few places that offer non-dairy ice creams, but it is few and far between. I take what I can get when I can get it. lol

Sometimes it is very hard for me to be up if someone causes us grief and cannot find a solution so we can have our lives back. I am glad you can treat yourself to something like I see in the picture. It looks yummy. I love sundaes like that.

You are so right, none of us know what a day will hold for us. Things will come along and knock us down but we must keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep going.
I am glad you got yourself a treat. It's been awhile since I last had a hot fudge sundae. I bought some Keebler grasshopper (mint) cookies because they were on sale. I hadn't had them in a long time and enjoy a few here and there with some coffee.

Mother Teresa said we need nothing more than this moment. I also believe we should live and feel happy in the moment. A hot fudge sunday sounds wonderful.
