It's better to finish the leftovers today so we can have so good food tomorrow so today's lunch will be with leftovers only.
Lunch will be with leftover okra and wheat bread and curd and I have few pieces of fritters / pakoras which we prepared in today's breakfast so it will be yummy.
What is your meal? Do you like to finish your leftovers first or let these stay?

@DaddyEvil that's good. When my wife is not in mood to cook food we usually buy it from outside but we usually avoid eating stale food.

@sjvg1976 The food isn't stale if packed correctly in the freezer.

I always cook too much food. It's nice to package leftovers and put them in the freezer. When I don't feel like cooking, I can get leftovers out of the freezer and eat those.

depends on the leftovers. Some leftovers in our house go fast. some, end up sitting there for a few days.
sounds like you use up your leftovers!

With your sons, I'm surprised you know what "leftovers" means.

It is not good to waste food, therefore, we do not mind eating leftovers with the subsequent meal.

@Butterfingers The food stuff is already very costly and hence we should fully utilize it.

I usually freeze leftovers and make something fresh. Then, when I don't feel like cooking, I can have leftovers and not worry about it.

Yes, I like to finish my leftovers before I eat something else. No meal today. It is a fast day for me and a minor fast one. That means that I got up very early and fed my cat and ate breakfast and threw out the garbage very early and went back to bed. No TV or music for 3 weeks. It is our mourning period and I give up TV and music for the whole 3 weeks.

We freeze the left overs sometimes and eat them a few days later after we steam them again and they taste as fresh as ever.
