Used the Shark Vacuum on the Dude

I have many vacuums. Different sizes for all sorts of spaces and floors. One that I use a lot is the Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro Cordless handheld vacuum. I vacuum up small pieces of litter or cat hair here and there, in between using the big vacuum. Also, when I groom my two cats, I will use it to vacuum the brush as I go along with the brushing. Makes it a lot easier. What would be even better is if they would allow me to use the vacuum instead of the bush, on their hair. Well today, the Dude was laying down as I brushed him, I started using the vacuum and he never moved. He seemed to like it. Could not believe it. Made it so much easier to groom him. Tried it on Brendel. Nope. She had nothing to do with it. I have to catch her to groom her. So funny how opposite these two cats are. That is my happy event for today. The little things. The photo is the vacuum I used today. And every day.

Ha, that is funny. On a side note, I saw Bounce dryer sheets pet lint and hair remover at the cheap store for 2.33..They want a fortune for it other places online and in stores.Next week I am going to grab that.

Great idea! I had a funny thought to do that to our little parakeets, but somehow I don't think it's a good idea

. Interesting Dude was fine with it but Brendel was not!

@CarolDM I asked my kids if it'd be ok to vacuum the parakeets - they didn't think it was a good idea either

. Right - maybe tomorrow you'll find Brendel vacuuming herself

I would not recommend on parakeets. Brendel is very finicky. She might like it tomorrow when it is her idea.

Yes vacuum is very good to clean and remove hairs from cats and dogs and I like to clean using that.

I can`t imagine using vacuum in grooming a cat but if it works for you. That`s good.

Buttons never liked for us to brush her too much. Ginger demands it. I would need a blood transfusion if I would have ever gotten that close to them with a vacuum.

I did vacuum the other day and for the first time in the 8 years we have had Ginger, she didn't hiss at me and run and hide.
