Some rains after a long time... some relief from heat

After so many hot days with increasing humidity, we had some good rains yesterday evening.
It was so pleasant to see showers bringing some cool and refreshing winds. There was a powercut but we sat in the balcony and enjoyed some pleasant winds.
Now the heat is less although the humidity has increased, which I think would go down after more rains.
Looking for a more active Mylot time this weekend.
How about you folks?

It has just rained today as well. Some more relief for the time being.

In office, we used to had central air-conditioning so now sitting at home and tackling more heat is tougher.
But well, one has to get used to the things.

Well we still have AC on but it is more effective today.
Could I ask : Which AC brand you use?
And which AC would you recommend from LG Inverter AC, Whirlpool and Hitachi(for Windows AC)?

I would buy a new AC from an offline dealer. I have heard of a few cases of wrong kind or variety of ACs being delivered in case of Online.
Plus we can have a good look at the various options and can bargain and interact if there is an issue.
The only minus of an offline dealer is that the salesman sometimes pesters too much with something that they want to urgently sell and cannot find a customer easily.
They can try to misguide.
Sometimes they guide in right direction as well. I once went to buy a new Fridge of Godrej but bought Whirlpool on their recommendation and it seems a better choice except for some recent defrosting issues.

After the rain started a few days ago the humidity increased from 56% to 98% and it is staying high even though the temperature dropped down to 14C this morning but raised back up to 21C this afternoon.

At 14C humidity is much more bearable. Yet high humidity and 35 C plus is a much tougher time.
Fans and AC are our saviors!!

Yes but the two evenings' rains have made the things better. I am hoping that it stays this way for the coming days.

Good for you
Here even though it did not rain here yesterday, the air is cool at the night time and was able to sleep good
I`m not sure if I will be active here on mylot tomorrow but will surely try to drop by

Yesterday we had 42 and 31 C - even nights are uncomfortable and we now need very good rains.
