Back to the VA

The Urology Nurse yesterday told us that rather than go to the Emergency Room, if it was business hours Monday through Friday we could just go see him as a walk in. Bob's Trial and Void worked yesterday but during the night he developed some symptoms that probably need to be treated with antibiotics. And he quit being able to pee. . . again. When I finally realized what was going on (Bob thought he had eaten something that did not agree) I made Bob get up and dressed and we went the 55 or so miles to the VA. However, he had left the car low on gas yesterday, so we had to stop for that. I was so dithered I took the wrong route through the wrong town. We still made it during office hours. He is back to having a catheter . . .darn it. I should have known something was going on. All three of the cats wanted to sleep with him last night. Cats know if you are unwell.

It really is nice to have them around. Just wish they could say what is on their mind.

Yes, cats do, and they make the best nurses, too. Their purring has the power to heal.

Oh no, I am so sorry for your husband, it seems that he cannot stay long without a catheter. Cats know for sure when you are not well.

Yeah, they do. And, while a cath isn't the most ideal it's better than going unchecked, don't you think?
