Got an important letter

I have now learned when my first time on the clock will be for this next school year.
We are having some "back to school" trainings and signing up for benefits the morning of August 4.
August 6 I have a behavior management/self defense class. Again, just a half day. It is a refresher course.
After that, I am not sure what my schedule looks like, but it is coming rather quickly.

I can't believe summer's almost over and its getting close to back to school time! My daughter graduate from college this past spring, and my son graduated from high school a month ago. This will be the first time in many years that I don't have kids in the public school system!

@sallypup Not really. Both kids still live here at home, and my daughter is going to grad school in the fall at the University of Florida, which is right down the street from where I live. And my son will be taking trade school classes at the local community college, as he wants to be an electrician. So really no lonesome time for me just yet. But I know that day will be coming in the near future!

I guess it sounds bad put that way. The name of the course is "Crisis Prevention Intervention" and it covers being observant of people who are triggered and knowing how NOT to trigger people. Yes, we are also taught how to block kicks, escape bites and hair pulling, etc. The whole focus is that we want to have everyone feel safe and no one get hurt.
