Well, dagnabbit. Just like that someone won the Illinois lottery last night, and no, it wasn't me.
Oh well. Back to the drawing board I guess, and of course, back to the office on Monday.
The prize was $8.9 million and resets for Monday's drawing at $2 million.
But hey, the Powerball and the MegaMillions are still going. So, there's still a chance.
Tuesday's MegaMillions is worth $153 million and Wednesday's Powerball is worth $186 million. I will make sure to have some tickets.

I get upset every time there is a drawing and I don't win. Then I remember that I don't even play the lottery, and then I get even madder! lol

It's a funny thing, really, considering the odds which I am quite aware of. I feel a sense of disappointment and "anger." I tend to say, "Why can't it be ME just once?" And then I realize, such as in the case of the Powerball, there are 291,999,999 other people who said exactly the same thing when they didn't win. lol
As for not playing? Come on, man. It's $2. Way less than a trip to Disney and that $50 you spent on some lousy tee-shirt.

@lovebuglena The odds are exactly the same whether you buy 1 ticket or 100. You have more chances, sure. But the odds don't change.

I like the cartoon. The Classic Lotto, the one I play all the time, is up to a cash prize of $5.7 million and still no winners. There's always hope.
