Currently, people are still free to shop at the mall. Later, we have to fulfill the vaccine requirements. At least the first dose is so that we can go out. Are these conditions carried out by your country?

Being vaccinated does not mean that we are free from the virus, because in fact some people die even though they have been vaccinated twice.

Yes, you can travel without vaccination. Therefore, we should do a good job in self-protection, wear masks and try to reduce the time to go to public activities.

It's not mandatory here, but there will be more restrictions for those who are not vaccinated. I guess that's the government's way of encouraging people to get vaccinated. The latest news I heard is that they will announce what sort of restrictions would be lifted for those who completed their 2 doses, maybe interstate travel, dine-in, etc.

Here it has been implemented in several places, if we go to salons, stalls, restaurants, hotels, and etc. We must be able to show a vaccine certificate even though it is only 1 shot.

@cahaya1983 Vaccinations are spread everywhere, but there are still many who are afraid of the side effects, in Jakarta for the first dose it is 40%.

No, but we'd all be safer if they did make it mandatory.

This has been decided because the cases in my country have risen sharply enough that hospitals are overwhelmed.

@May2k8 Wear your mask, wash your hands frequently and keep at least two meters from others. Get vaccinated as soon as possible.

I think that getting the vaccine should be mandatory, unless there's a serious health issue that threatens. No, it's not required yet in some places. But, soon this immunity will be mandatory, to go certain places or even on the job.

Only a problem arises here, even though we are vaccinated we have to use an application to enter a mall and some people get errors when using the application so they are not allowed to enter.

Unfortunately, it can’t be mandatory in the USA. Only the wise have gotten vaccinated, but the unwise are dying right and left.

We recognize that vaccination is effective in preventing a person from experiencing severe symptoms. This mandatory to encourage people to be vaccinated here, the government plans to give it to more than 70% of the population in Indonesia until last December 2021.

@May2k8 Here, too, but there are many idiots who refuse to get it. Those in the hospitals are saying that IF they live, will now get the vaccines.

In Indonesia, it is difficult for people to be given direction, that's why the government is doing this to reduce deaths caused not only by Covid.

@May2k8 Why would it be difficult for the government to give the people direction? But by doing this they are taking away.a pretty basic human right, aren't they?

@JimBo452020 Belief in something that is difficult to change, some regions don't want to be vaccinated because they say they can get sick and some even don't believe in Covid.

A total of 150 million people in Indonesia have received the first and second vaccines, it is planned in early 2022 if they want the vaccine to be not free of cost.

@May2k8 This is a happy thing. 70% of people in China have been vaccinated. We are all working hard to end the epidemic. Everyone consciously wears masks in public. When we find that there are infected people in some areas, we will cooperate with the government to isolate the contacts free of charge in designated hotels.

@May2k8 As long as someone is diagnosed with infection, we will invite those in close contact with the infected person to the hotel for isolation for 14 days. All this is free.

It is not mandatory in my country, but people who haven't been vaccinated need a negative test in order to enter many places. It is much easier when you have been vaccinated because you no longer need to wait in line at the test center.
