Treat On A Hot Day ~ Fried Cheesecake

Treated to a special dessert today. The temperatures were soaring close to 100 degrees. Yikes, that is hot. Too hot to cook.
Decided to have a nice dessert to cool things down. One of my favorites.
Our local Mexican restaurant has this fried cheesecake on their menu. And it is absolutely the best.
I only get it every now and then. And today was the day. Snapped a photo to share.
You can see the fried cheesecake, whipped cream, cinnamon sugar, honey, vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup drizzled.

I've never had fried cheesecake before, but your photo makes it seem heavenly. But then again, I am a Southerner, and we like everything fried!

That looks absolutely decadent. Temps have been in the 90's here and on top of that the humidity is a smack to the face every time we walk out the door.

@CarolDM Yes the rain we've received has not touched the heat at all.
There is a keto bakery on the way to costco and I'll be heading to costco in awhile. I saw on facebook they have Tres Leches now and I am trying to behave and NOT stop by.

Jay and I use to get a fried dessert, when we went to Chi-Chi's a Mexican restaurant. Except it was covered with strawberry sauce, delicious! Your photo looks so inviting and yummy

@CarolDM We had beautiful memories there, it was where Jay got down on one knee and proposed. I still remember the shock I'd felt! I thought that he was dumping me and no longer wanted to be friends

@YuleimaVzla There are recipes online but I have not tried them. i don't use a deep fryer. But it might be worth it.
