How do you park?

It is interesting to me to see how people park in parking lots. Some go straight in while others back up into their space. There are a few die-hards at work who always back their pick up trucks in. I've seen a few other people switch to that over the years. Most still go nose-in. It is the same here at the apartment complex. Everyone has their preference. I don't feel confident going in reverse so I always park nose-in. If I tried to back into a parking spot I'd probably slam into the curb. My convertible is tiny and has a back up camera but I am still not backing into a parking spot. No way.

When my husband is alone, he backs into a parking space. When he's with me, he goes nose-in. He does this because it's easier to get my wheelchair out.

I don’t drive a car and so I don’t know how to park.

It depends for me. But with a truck it is easier to see if you are facing out. They have more blind spots

I pull into a spot unless I can pull straight through so I don't have to back out when I leave. I don't have the confidence to back into a parking spot anymore.

Jay always backs into a parking space, by force of habit. Michigan is prone to snowy road conditions, during the winter months. Parking that way makes it simpler to get traction. Myself, I prefer not to back up, if I can avoid it.

Parking on a motorbike is simple enough. Needs no explanation.

I always pull in front first I can go in backwards but only do they in my parking space when the weather is going to be bad. My husband had a CDL so he can park everywhere which way.

My father taught me to back in. It's pretty simple and when leaving, you have perfect visibility to exit a spot. Nose in parking makes for trouble backing out into traffic when you have to go in reverse without being able to see if it's clear. It's everyone's choice to make.

I go in nose first and make sure to find a spot that is not a horror to back out of. There's a strip mall in my town that has parking spaces that are in front of the lane out of there. I generally refuse to park in those spaces- a hot shot driver could barrel in, either I'd miss him or he'd miss me and we'd have a smash up.

I like to back in. You have to back up one way or the other, so I like to get it over with.

I don't drive much; but I go nose-in. I don't trust my backup skills anymore for as much as I drive.
