Today's Adventure

Today we didn't make any solid plans because of the weather forecast. Of course, the rain stayed away except for some light rain so we decided to go for a ride.
One of the things we did was check on a house for sale that my husband wanted to see. It had already been sold so we just rode around for a bit. We passed a man in the front yard wearing an LSU shirt and I waved. Hubby backed the car up and said, "Hello." That led to a 30 minute conversation about LSU, Louisiana, Monroe LA where he used to live, boats, and other stuff.
LSU man led us to an empty lot that the backyard led to marshland and only a few lots away from the boat landing. That is where I snapped the photo of the Heron in the picture above.
After that we stopped at the store and picked up a couple of things that we forgot to get yesterday.
That about sums up our afternoon. What did you do today?

@moffittjc His top choice would be 100 acres in the middle of nowhere but that just sounds a bit too much in the way of seclusion to me.

That heron is so majestic. Thank you for the day brightener. What did I do today? Ha ha. I took my hubby to a doc appointment, sat for most of an hour for him to get through and tried not to fall asleep in my chair. Grocery shopped and topped the day off helping hubby dig under the kitchen sink for stuff that could be put in the garbage can since its garbage pick up week. Wow, huh?

I just spent a usual day.I saw marshland and lots of weeds,i am thinking whether there are some wild anmials living in that field.
