Around noon today, the power suddenly cut off. It's hot, no electricity so no fan. Yay! I literally doze off near the window today. It's a bit breezy outside so I put my hands there, rest my head while sitting on my bed. I was woken up by Bubu the cat. He probably tried to get in and surprised to see me there. Well I was surprised by him too so we're even. The power is restored now, thankfully. I thought it might get restored a bit later than that.

brownouts (power failures) are the worst! i think my dog would move out, if we didn't have power in the house for more than 4 or 5 hours.

Brownouts. I shall remember that word. Thank you! My cats were outside except for Lala. They would dozed off under the trees. Bubu would go in and out as he pleased using my window. We did open the door but he still use my window!

I hate blackouts. When I was at home, Johor, blackouts happened frequently and it goes on for half day !! Most of us would run out to shopping mall, air con!

Glad to hear that you got the power back on a lot faster than we did when our power went out the other night. In the heat you experience a power cut cannot be a good thing even if it is restored quickly

Hope your doing okay now, in hot days it is so much better to have electricity so you can open the fan or the air con. But sometimes due to overheats the wires get busted so most of the summer days have electric outrages.
