The photo is Vince’s and shows two groups of riders who were doing an endurance ride last weekend. It was also a good indication of how the small town of Greenhills got its name. It seems very apt for the area.
Tomorrow is Sunday but the following weekend there is a ride at Merredin. We will hook up the caravan on Wednesday and head off. We will help set up on the Thursday and Friday but take photos Friday afternoon then again on Saturday. I’m not sure how Merredin got its name but again there will be acres and acres of crops. The yellow in the photo is a crop of canola which is in flower.

That's a beautiful green landscape and the name is apt
A lot of fun waits for you and Vince in Merredin next week.
I am seeing crop of canola for the first time and that reminds me of the mustard crops in our countryside when the yellow flowers are in full bloom.

@arunima25 It's possibly grown as a crop in some areas but here it's known as wild mustard if it invades other agricultural areas.

@JudyEv They definitely make a great backdrop.
We have widespread fields of mustard here. I didn't know that they were considered pests.

@DocAndersen Here, it's a machinery shed or a hay shed depending on its purpose.

It sure is, it looks like Ireland. Do any of the endurance riders end up buying your photographs or do you give them to them for free? I guess you are the official photographers of these events.

We have a website and the riders buy the photos from there. It has become quite good pin money. While we're not quite 'official' photographers, no-one else bothers with endurance rides. We sponsor a little and volunteer if and when we can. We also provide free photos for any publicity so we're pretty much part of the endurance community now which is nice. The website is down under images (all one word) but I think there are a couple with the same name. Ours is virtually nothing but horses. lol
