August 12 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today, I'm thankful for my sister. It's her birthday today, and somehow today, I will talk to her and wish her a Happy Birthday. She didn't answer when I called. I won't give up. I just talked with her. She's doing well.
I'm thankful I got to the Y this morning. It felt good to be in the water again.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. It's coming along well. I'm looking forward to publishing it in a few days.
I'm thankful for the weather. It's been a great day to get out and walk around the complex to get my steps even though I'm not wearing my Fitbit. I am missing it though, so I might put it back on Saturday night for next week.

@just4him Well that is good. I don't think I would want to go without my fitbit. I know if I do an hour and a half of working out then I usually end up with 10k+ calories.

My day was kind of frustrating. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I did manage to reschedule my septic cleaning appointment so that was something. I also ordered a chainsaw for an amazing price.

Thursday was a good day, it didn't get quite as warm here. Today, it's 73 degrees and very nice weather. Jay's cleaning his garage out, it's something he wanted to do. The stone is going on the front of our house, today of tomorrow. I'm thankful that stone is put on only once!

Thankful I have air conditioning that works. It's 95F today, ugh....
