Mall is open but very quiet

This picture I took on July 28, 2021. You can see there how the situation is almost no people at all. Since the mall is closed people can't use the escalator and to get inside are several check points there. Now it has been opened but the requirement to enter is that you must have a full vaccine certificate and an application is needed to access the barcode listed in front of the mall entrance. This means that one dose is not eligible and I am one of those who do not meet the requirements. Do you often go to the mall, if so, are there any problems?

Here in addition to the protocol, you must have been fully vaccinated and if you haven't been vaccinated, several brands of vaccines have been provided at the mall.

@FaruMesh I don't know as I have not gone to mall recently. I usually avoid such places.

I went to the mall a few weeks ago after my first dose of the vaccine. The closed stores, the employees who are mostly working alone in their stores and the dim lighting made it seem like it was a ghost mall.

It's exactly like that, especially if it is applied to ages between 12 to 59 years who can enter the mall and must have been fully vaccinated (2 doses).

It's been over a year since I have been to the mall and that was a very quick trip. I did notice that the parking lot at Walmart was packed today though.

Since August 10 yesterday the mall has indeed been opened but still has problems with the application used to identify someone if they have been vaccinated or not.

Malls here are currently close due to the lockdown, I barely went to malls unless we need to go stack up our supplies.

We do not have such restrictions here. Whether vaccinated or not you are allowed to enter the mall as long as your temperature is within the normal range. Since the start of the pandemic, I don't go to the malls. But some of the malls are crowded as the festive seasons are approaching

@Nawsheen One day the mall is at least about tens of thousands of people per day and for public transportation it may be hundreds of thousands of people per day, which means there is more movement here after loosening some policies.

@May2k8 vaccination is mandatory to have access to many public places but the mall is not the one of them. Perhaps this will be included in the future

Because that is a requirement for us, the mall is quiet because many are refused entry even though they already have a vaccine certificate.

Here, it's not only that, we are checked one by one for vaccine certificates and even then we have to go through the QR Code placed at the entrance.

@thelme55 Of course, even if we've been vaccinated, we won't necessarily be able to enter the mall. Sometimes the application got error, for those who are clueless it will be difficult for them.

People are avoiding malls here as well, not only because the certificate is needed but also because the risks are high to get infected.

It could be, now we just need to bring a smartphone and when we want to go to the mall or a place that recommends using the application and our data we have registered there, so when we scan the QR Code there will be listed the number that has been entered of the maximum number and the date, month, year and hours also displayed after we check in. If we are leave the place don't forget to check out

Here, those under 12 and over 70 years old are not allowed to go to the mall, and although it is open, there are requirements other than a health protocol as well as an application to scan the code that is before entering the mall.

I haven't been inside a MALL since the beginning of pandemic last year. It's not surprising if there's less people. I bet business won't go well except surviving with online orders.

Especially now that the mall per day is only limited to 50% of the number of visitors and if we want to enter or leave, we have to use the application on smartphone that recommended to scan the QR Code and the minimum requirement is that we must be 12 until 70 years old and have been fully vaccinated.
