Couple of Roses to Enjoy Inside

Yesterday I picked two buds from my rose bush to enjoy inside. I was happy to see both had bloomed overnight. Now I can enjoy them right beside my computer. And still have many left on the rose bush in Dustin's garden. Little things in life every day to enjoy. Life is not about the big things. Enjoy what you can, when you can. Laugh often. Make memories.

@CarolDM I know that I have told you this in the past, but they are the very same colour as a rose bush that my Gramma had, she loved the blooms from that bush so much.

Red roses are my favourite flowers and you have two beauties there. I rarely pick roses because in England they lived longer on the bush,k but now I live in Greece they live longer in the house because the sun is so hot. They bloom well in Spring, and in the autumn I get to enjoy them again but in the summer they suffer from the heat and the insects. I have noticed that the white and yellow roses are most ;prone to attack. Beetles love them and greenfly spoil the buds if i don't spot them in time.

These are actually a dark pink. I pick roses to enjoy inside because, why not! I can enjoy them both inside and out from my son's memorial garden. Japanese beetles attacked mine earlier in the season. But they survived.

Very beautiful roses, I used to place roses, tulips in early spring and late brought lilacs in to freshen the rooms, They al always looked so nice in their vases,
