Supposed To Be Sunny Today

The weather channel is showing a big fat sun on their channel for today around here. So far, I haven't seen it and wondering if they are "off" again. It would not be the first time.
I can't say that this Summer has been a success so far.
And to top it all, our Prime Minister has announced a federal election for September 26 th. Not the time for an election because of the pandemic, I think that it is a mistake, a very expensive mistake.

Yes, I feel that Justin has made a terrible error in calling an election for next month.
We are not ready for another federal election and they are so costly.

Yes I saw that about the election in Canada...what is going on..
Yes this summer was much too hot here.
A lot of people suffering with the heat around the world.

Can you mail in an Absentee Ballot like we can in the US? You can avoid the crowds that way.

Good that it is cooler now.
Covid is here to stay and not all can be stopped for it. Many countries had elections during the pandemic. Hope all protocols are in place and people behave responsibly.

@marlina Oh, I heard the news. It seems that he is fully confident of having the majority. Here, I would call it an unwanted one in this pandemic time. Things would have been better in two years to go for elections on a regular time.

Here in our place it was so hot in the whole morning then once 2 to 3pm it will rain. Sometimes I get headaches because of the weather.
About our election, we really had no idea if it will be push through next year. Since yes pandemic is still on going. We still have lockdowns.

I am enjoying the cool and rainy day since morning but I can say that the announcement of the election will definitely get postponed because as you said during these pandemic situations conducting elections is really a big mistake.
