If I could waterski, I would be doing it right this minute, but with both hands unlike the Ice Princess.
Just returned from hours of pickleball, showered, had a banana for lunch, and placed an Instacart order for delivery.
Thawing baby back ribs for dinner. Too hot to go out to dinner with hubs, so decided to eat in our air conditioned house. Canceled our reservations. Too bad. This new restaurant has a pretty outdoor dining area and delicious food, and I so wanted to wear my new jewelry for the first time.
Such is life and more time to relax and watch the birds, butterflies, and lightning bugs later tonight.

Actually, it sounds like you have a lovely dinner planned--we are so smoky out right now that it is better to be indoors as well--I hope you enjoy your evening!!

@divalounger Unfortunately, we will be getting Henri in about 12 hours. Category 1 and slow moving. I hope our cable returns before your daughter has her baby.

She is really enjoying herself, water skiing looks like a lot of fun:) Our neighbor plays pickle ball, now there are teams that Clifford set up in Tawas. Dianne, we finally got the stone on the front, but it still needs grouting. I cut the ferns off to give Jay enough room to walk. They will come up again next year:)

It isn't really hot here but has been humid. It is a little better now that the rain has gone through. Maybe it will be nicer by next Friday and you can go out.

She's looking great on those waterskis.
Good idea to eat in your air-conditioned home. Baby back ribs sound great. I'm sure they turned out well. You can wear it next week. Hopefully, the temps start to cool down.
I hope you saw many birds, butterflies, and lightning bugs.

Thank you! That little pip is such a little athlete.
Omg! The ribs were so delicious. I only made corn on the cob with them. Of course I ate everything. Hubs had to save some of his ribs for lunch. Unfortunately, we are going to get hit with a hurricane tomorrow.

@DianneN kind of you - but I spent most of my childhood summers on a Lake in Wisconsin. So, water skiing was less about athlete and more about well, the minimum expected!

There'll be other time to wear your anniversary present. Dinner sounds good. I had corn chowder leftovers. Bracing for remnants of Linda coming Tuesday night and staying till Wednesday. Everything depends on how Linda passes us.
