Are you going to take the 3rd shot booster vaccine for Covid Delta?

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters
I woke up in a cloudy and cool air but no rain. I had a good morning walk and a dancing exercise and later will have another dancing exercise with mother 
The first thing that comes into my mind is about this pandemic and the new virus that is coming out Covid Delta. I heard that there will be another 3rd shot booster vaccine for this virus. My question is, are you going to take it? My husband and me decided to take it once it is available to everyone but for now the priority are the front liners and old people. I don`t know the age range actually 
I just heard old people and that`s it.
How about in your place? Is this Covid Delta existing? Is the vaccine booster available now in your place? Any update in your place about this virus?

Delta is present in Philippines for two months now. It's so contagious for it can contaminate a passer-by. Before covid rate in Philippines before Delta variant was 3,000 this day it's 18,000 plus, so scary planet. We are so afraid here

@m_audrey6788 yes, I will. But I heard that if there will be booster shot, the first one to be given are those vaccinated by sinovac since the effectivity of the vaccine is shorter.

Yes, we have variants here and we are now in the process of doing the 3rd shot. I got mine and hope there will not be a 4th because I am not sure what I believe. I have read that people after getting the vaccine have gotten and our numbers have gone up and next month we are going to have lots of Jewish holidays which usually go from September to October and this year they are all in September. They have talked about a lockdown but I do not believe people iisten and care here and that is the problem because if they say the gatherings or going to the Synagogue not many6 can then people do not listen and not all wear masks inside or social distance so I have no idea what to say. I stiooed wearing a mask for a time because they told us we did not have to and then when I saw how people act here I started to wear one again and have been ever since.

Here too most people don`t listen. They just don`t care about the virus. They still go out and a lot of people eat at the restaurants and goes to shops and mingle with many people. I guess, people will not care until they experience it from themselves. Just don`t mind other people and think of your own safety. Stay safe always. Thank you

I've heard of the Delta variant, and rumours of a booster possibly being needed. If it's offered, I'll take it as I have done for other diseases. When people say that the vaccine doesn't work because it doesn't stop the virus or it can't be good if you need a booster, I have to wonder if they've not had vaccines before or are simply unaware of how they work.

Maybe, I just had the first dose of Pfizer two days ago. My second one is scheduled September 11. Here in Georgia USA, I read in the State Capital of Atlanta that the hospitals are at capacity , also the hospital in my town of Toccoa is at capacity. So, yes the virus is heavy here.

@m_audrey6788 My arm hurt where the shot was given and I felt a little more tired than usual. It lasted for a day.

@m_audrey6788 I know many wouldn't approve me saying this and I mean this with all due respect to everyone who is taking the shots, but I've personally decided I don't want any vaccine put in me. I am lucky with where I live as it's been great here regarding very little to no cases but either way, I personally do not want the vaccine.
There are some locations here where people are getting the jab (not sure which one) but I don't want any part of it. I wish you all the best with the vaccine and just everything in general and I hope it doesn't offend you or anyone when I say I don't want it. I'm not trying to cause any issues but I just personally don't want it.

We are in the thick of Delta in the U.S. I won't be eligible for a booster until sometime in November--but yes--I will do it.

In Indonesia there is no delta variant yet. hopefully there won't be. here are still doing 2 vaccines, although I myself have not been vaccinated. I will wait 3 months, because previously I had symptoms similar to covid. hopefully not. now i am in good health.
