or 126 days before the new year begins. And I thought year 2021 will be much better than 2020. In a way yes, it is better because the vaccine is here. But as per the covid virus, just like the advancement of technology, it also upgrades and advance itself to a more infectious (probably), stronger and non resistant to vaccine. We can only hope and pray for a better year 2022. What are your thoughts?

I also thought that 2021 would have been a better year, but it is even worse than last year. I hope that a cure will be found to stop the Covid.

@LadyDuck same here since the virus now affects kids as well. I fear more for my kids. They are now also air borne which is really scary

@rakski true. Last year we took down the lockdown seriously. We were lax this year and have seen free inflows from other places.

I think most people thought the pandemic would be behind us now. It is so sda that it is not.

that is really possible. We actually thought this year would be better but it did not so there could be more turn out of events.

I agree. Originally I thought 2021 would be better and we would be back to normal. Certainly doesn't seem as if normal will be any time soon (or ever)

Yeah, I think we have to move faster to find a cure or a stop to the spread of this virus. It seems that the virus has not let up with the coming of the new variant. Next year will be more challenging since we will have our national elections coming and I think it is hard to cast your vote with the pandemic looming around our place. We need to have extra precautions when we exercise our rights next year.

@rakski Yeah I could imagine the campaigning would also be different as they could not mass gather if the infections would not stop in one place.

@rakski Haha that may be but that is not allowed as it can be construed as vote-buying.

I agree. I do not like the idea of voting as people tend to be there at once

Once the fear of the virus starts to subside, only then will things look up for people.
