August 29 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it.
I'm so thankful today. God is so good! I talked to my pastor this morning at church. There are two tall bookcases. I asked him what he would do with them. He said he would give them away. I asked if I could have them. He's giving them to me. I finally have bookcases for all my books. He also told me he was giving me a TV he doesn't need. It's perfectly good and a large TV. I'm so blessed. I'll get them when I get ready to move. I have no room for them here.
I'm thankful for the e-mail I received this morning. I'm getting a royalty payment again tomorrow. God is so good. I usually get the royalty notice a week ahead of the payment. This time I got it the day before. I didn't think there would be a payment this month. It's not much, but it's good to know there is a payment.
I'm thankful for what I can give to the new church plant I'll be a part of in six weeks. I'll still be part of the church I'm going to as the church plant is under the authority of the church. I have a lot I can offer. I'm giving the table I'm working on as my computer desk and the folding chairs I have no need of. I'm so grateful they'll have a place to go and be useful. There was a church plant meeting after church to discuss what we need to get started. I'm so grateful I have something to give to help it succeed. I'll also be part of the prayer ministry. I'm so blessed!
And yes, the service was awesome too. I also got many hugs. I may also have more help when I move. God is working it all together.
Okay, that's been my day. Everything is coming together for the move in 10 days. I'm excited and thankful for everything that's happening.

It is awesome you are getting what you need. God does answer prayers! Also you can give your furniture a new home and it can be useful..that is so good.

I'm thankful we found a table for our microwave at Downtown used furnture yesterday. It worked out perfectly.

A great day for you. I was thankful I could be lazy today. Tomorrow is supposed to only be in the low 80s compared to the low 90s for today.

@just4him How nice that you can have those bookcases! I love bookcases. Whenever I have a place of my own, I want a nice bookcase to place all my books. At the moment they are inside a cupboard but I wish to have them on display one day.
Seems like a lot of nice and positive things going on for you right now! I am happy about that.

God is doing a beautiful work in your life, please keep praying for my situation. Tomorrow will determine, if I need to move out. I refuse to have Kobe euthanized.

Ten days, not too long now....and that is good about having more help and the bookcases and TV. The royalty payment as well of course.
