Caldor fire is getting bigger.

The Caldor fire is getting bigger. The smoke is in the Bay Area. You can’t go on Highway 50 or go to the El Dorado National Forest. Kit Carson Lodge and Caples lake Resort are closed. The fire is moving east toward Tahoe, and there are mass evacuations now.

This is a danger we face every year. There are ways to prevent these fires and there needs to be extensive efforts to do so. We must study these fires and learn ways to prevent and put them out soon. Hoping for safety for all near these fires

yes, it is closer to being contained. Some evacuaion orders have been lifted. not recommended to travelthere yet.
