Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters
I woke up in a very nice weather. Sunny and warm air. I had a great long morning walk and a dancing exercise 
Yesterday, my husband bought some corned beef and he told me to prepare it today for dinner. I love it. I will just fry it with garlic, onions and potatoes. 
How about you my dear mylotters? Do you like Corned beef with potatoes? What are you having for today?

Yes, this is a favorite of mine.
Sometimes, I add marble potatoes so I don't have to cut and dice the potatoes.

@cacay1 Potatoes dug before the end of the growing season. What Americans call "new" potatoes.

I don't like corned beef with potatoes. My dad always puts them together with beans and, sometimes, bacon to make a corned beef hash (or, as my children refer to it, Grandad's Special Mash). It's one of the few things my eldest son doesn't like. Nothing wrong with my dad's cooking 
we just don't like corned beef or the greasiness due to being cooked with a lot of fat. I make a healthier version with lean meat and/or vegetables, which is nice.

I mix corned beef (which, here in the UK, comes in cans and is roughly chopped, so it breaks up easily) with mashed potato and a little Worcester sauce. I would usually add some browned onion and sometimes chopped cooked cabbage or green beans. A little bake in the oven, mainly just to brown the top, and that is my version of Corned Beef Hash. It's a 'comfort food' and one to be served to family and close friends only!

Yeah, although I haven't had it for years. It is kind of hard to even find corned beef now, plus opening those little tins is a pain, and it is high in sodium. I might make some this winter though. They call it corned beef hash here.
