Final Day

As some of know, I moved to my brother's house back in May, end of month that is. I don't like it here, I love it. I already talked to the secretary at the apartment complex that I am giving up my unit. She said I can use my deposit and final day will be on September 25th. The problem is, my stuff are still in the apartment. I don't have truck to pick them up. Movement is still restricted in most areas in the metro and even in the province. I am thinking of booking a transport services to pick up my things. Will update you again about that. Finally, I was able to request payout on Humanatic today. I failed to reach $30 but have earned $27 for two weeks. Not bad at all since I do the task during idle time at my regular job.

Hmm I remember when I rented a space in Manila... After a few years of paying and not staying there, I had to bring my things home. I had lots of stuff and I only had to ride a bus coming home to our province... =) I had 7 bags and I was all alone.. I don't know how I managed to carry all those.. And how I was able to accumulate all those things. LOL

Wow that's lots of things. I have 3 megabox boxes, 2 megabox drawers, ref, washing machine, microwave, airfryer, my clothes, my 5 pillows, and other stuff. I tried checking Transportify and it is around 2k to move my things.

$27 in two weeks apart from your full-time job is not at all bad. Corona cases are increasing in India too. Hope to see lockdown here too if it's not controlled here soon.

So glad you love it where you are. I’d hire a moving company. Will you stay with your brother or get your own place?

I will stay at my house next door. Need some repair but I can move in. In the meantime my sister and her husband use the house so she can be isolated from the kids. My sister works outside so the kids can't stay with her.

It's good that your company isn't strict about extra curricular activities. Can you sell some of your stuff so you don't have to transport too much?

Good thing that I can do it on my phone. If I do it on the company pc, I will be caught. I can sell them but I prefer transporting them to the new house.

@merrybelle2021 yes work from home. It is not permanent but while cases are still high, we can work from home. I started working from home in April 2020, then went back to the office in November 2020 - May 2021. When more people in the office tested positive for Covid, I had symptoms. Then when I got the internet installed in my apartment, I requested to work at home.
